Besides the annual general meetings where the BOD reports to the GA and the quarterly meetings where the BOD reviews organizational progress, the BOD and management hold a joint retreat every year to reflect on the annual strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
UYOSHUR makes efforts to integrate community participation in the planning, management, implementation and monitoring of her programs.
Staff also undergoes 5 days of orientation before work and 5 days annual retreats to reflect on their performance. In the process of working, staff participate in short term refresher courses as need and opportunities arise.
